Tapi berusaha banget untuk legowo semenjak sadar uang itu diambil orang dan sangat kecil kemungkinan untuk kembali lagi ke saya. Misal, ketika sedang menghadapi fase baru dalam hidup; seperti dulu saat masuk semester baru, saya berusaha banget positive thinking agar dapat menjalani perkuliahan dengan baik. Berbagai hal yang menyulitkan di semester sebelumnya, sudah saya tinggalkan jauh-jauh. Pun begitu ketika dulu dihadapkan dengan mata kuliah prosal dan skripsi. Berat? Iya awalnya. Bayangan harus membuat karya tulis dan melakukan penelitian serta membaca puluhan jurnal sudah membayang. Tapi, Allah tidak akan memberikan ujian diluar kemampuan hambanya, bukan? Nah disinilah peran berpositive thinking. Kita akan mampu dan bisa menjalani apapun yang sudah Allah gariskan. Do Good, Feel Good Do good = melakukan kebaikan. Ya, lakukankah kebaikan, lalu otomatis kita akan merasakan kebaikan. Tidak percaya? Ketika melihat teman yang berbahagia karena sedang wisuda, atau yang semacamnya kita punya dua pilihan turut berbahagia atau justru julid kepadanya. Nah kalau kita menjatuhkan pada pilihan pertama, lantas memberikan ucapan selamat atau bahkan kado sebagai cinderamata do good, teman yang sedang berbahagia itu akan makin bertambah kebagaiaannya. Dan kebahagiaan itu akan mengalir kembali ke diri kita feel good. Contoh lainnya adalah ketika seseorang bekerja suatu hal untuk kita. Mama yang membuatkan sarapan misalnya. Kita punya pilihan untuk berterima kasih ataukah berkomentar terlebih dahulu. Walau terlihat simple, karena sudah merupakan rutinitas harian, mama perlu diberi apresiasi atas kerja kerasnya setiap hari. Mengucapkan terima kasih sebelum memulai menyantap masakannya, kerap kali abai atau bahkan tidak pernah dilakukan. Cobalah, bersikap lebih manis, do good dengan mengucapkan; “Mama, terima kasih sudah dibuatkan sarapan..” Lalu lihatlah reaksinya.
